We want borrowing to be an affordable way for everyone to get their hands on the items they need. But we also recognise that everyone's situation, incomes and outgoings are different - plus London can be tough on the purse!
Our Concession Membership is there for you if you feel that cheaper borrowing prices will make things a little easier for you.
When you sign-up, you’ll get a 25% discount on the regular daily price of borrowing on everything you borrow for one year.
When should I sign-up for a Concession Membership?
Whether you're a student, receiving a pension or government support, not in work, have children to feed, people to care for, or you’ve got other bills to pay – choose our Concession Membership if it will make things easier for you.
If your finances change and you'd like to contribute more to our social enterprise, you can always change back to our Standard Membership.
How do I sign-up?
You can sign-up for Concession Membership on any of our Thing pages. If you're already a member you can login and change your membership plan via this link too.Â
1. Click the link titled 'Save money with Concession Membership. Do this before you add items to your basket to make a reservation.
2 . This will open up a form. We’d really appreciate it if you can answer one question to help us understand why our Concession Membership is helpful for you.
Click register and you're ready to make a reservation.Â
3. Visit the Thing page to reserve the item you want to borrow. You will see the discount applied when you choose the dates for your borrow. Make sure you're logged in to see the discount!
